She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Bepi"; her parents, Pio Savia and Lina Della Savia; her sisters, Argia (Bepi) and Romilda (Bruno); and her siblings-in-law, Ornella (Sante), Bruna (Luigi) and Fiorello.
She is survived by: her children, Iola Ienna (Lou), Liana Silvaggi (Perry) and Sylvia Brassard (Martin); her grandchildren, Michael (Trish), Joe (Imogen), Andrea (Mimo), Jacey (Allison), Dean and Renée; her extended family S. A.; and her friends, Gabriella, Lepa, Emma and Stella.
Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, As an expression of sympathy and to honour Maria's life, memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B) or Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County.
