She was predeceased by: her parents, Real Chauvin and Laurencia Louise Chauvin; and her brothers, Edward and Hubert Chauvin. She is survived by: her sisters, Jeanne Chauvin and Maria Marguerite Porter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Alphonsus Church (85 Park St E, Windsor, ON N9A3A8). A burial was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1Z5).
Donations in memory of Marie to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
