She was predeceased by: her parents, Lida Bechard and Donat Bechard; her husband Walter Shuel; and her siblings, Ronald Bechard (late Doreen) and Annette Meloche (Floyd).

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Pischke (Verne), Carol Fleming-Morgan (Elmer), John Shuel and David Shuel (late Juliana); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Kocsis (Kevin), Quinn Pischke (Rebecca), Alex Pischke (Chantel), McKenzie Fleming, Faith Shuel, I, Jacob Munro and Alexandrea Munro; her great grandchildren, Carter Kocsis, Juliet Kocsis, Olivia Pischke, Emilia Kocsis, Georgia Pischke and Ivy Pischke; and her brothers, Bob Bechard (Anita), Junior Bechard (Linda) and Douglas Bechard (Joan).
