He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pauline Benoit (Nee Cochrane); his children, Ryan Benoit (Jenn) and Gillian Gonzalez (Jose); his parents, Maurice Benoit and Evelyn Benoit; his siblings, Pam Lemay (Al), Michelle Cartier (Larry), Cindy Kozmenski (Glen) and Al Benoit; his godchildren, Shannon Sherman and Kevin Lacombe; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Evelyn Cochrane; and his siblings-in-law, David Cochrane, Maureen Beemer (Wayne), Norman Cochrane (Giselle), Dennis Cochrane (Ursula), Helen Hamilton (Andy), Brian Cochrane, Donald Cochrane (Grace), Evelyn Laureault (Tom) and Kenny Cochrane. He was also cherished by nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Drouillard Place or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
