As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barbara Gillis and Angus Gillis; her siblings, Bruce Gillis and Donna MacDougall (Shane); her nephew Maxwell; her nieces, Kennedy and Gracie MacDougall; and her friends, Windsor and Halifax. She was also cherished by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave, WINDSOR, ON N9E 1S6). A prayer was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd W, Windsor, ON N9G1C4).
