She was predeceased by: her son Tim; her parents, Bessie and Clarence; and her sister Helen. She is survived by: her husband John (Jack); her sons, Brian (Laurie) and Neil; her grandchildren, Heather (Dan) and Chris (Katie); her friend Rita Tessier; and her adoptive daughter Marianne Reaume.

It is Maxine's wish that donations in her memory be considered to the Windsor Regional Hospital Renal Program or the Windsor Goodfellows Club.
