He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Benzinger and Katharina Benzinger; his sister Rosalia Pokorny; and his child Eleonora. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena; his children, Robert Mayer, Raymond, Pat Benzinger, Rita, Steve Winn, Claudia, Angus Francis, Walter Benzinger, Iuna Tomasini and Karen Benzinger; his grandchildren, Christopher (Gabriella), Matthew (Marie), Andrea, Jessica, Alexander (Keshia), Sarah, Rachel, Cosette, Alexa, Michael, Sophia, Danielle, Maya, Joseph and Monica; his great grandchildren, Miles, Lennon, Brynley, Finn, Hudson, Addilyn and Gage; and also Mathias Pokorny.
