He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Heffernan and Donald Heffernan (Micky); his wife Carol Pennylegion; and his brother Robert (Bob). He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kay (Louis Cvetanovski), Laura Kay (Greg Masse) and Daniel Heffernan (Mary Lou Gellisen); his grandchildren, Rebecca Lefebvre (Jordan), Eric Cvetanovski (Miranda) and Noah Cvetanovski (Victoria); and his sister Maureen Tarbat (Gord).
