He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Sophie; his siblings, Nicole, Rob (Imperioli), Ken and Stephanie; his cousin Michelle St; his uncle Barry Tapak; and his parents, Bob Tapak and Mary Ellen Tapak. He was also cherished by Uncle Mikey to his nieces and nephews.

“It is with a sad and heavy heart that I hear of Michael's passing I spent time in Kissimmee South RV park with his mother and dad He and Sophie would come and stay go to Disney I had lunch with Michael in Florida He had his little puppy with him what an enjoyable lunch He will be greatly missed by not only me but everyone who knew him Rest in peace Michael I will continue to pray for your family”
