He was predeceased by: his parents, David Veitch and Julia Veitch; and his sister Jan Rieveley. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Veitch; his children, Marcie (Kyle Duran) and David; his grandchildren, Dean and Darby; his sisters, Louise Veres (Rich) and Diane Lucas (Blake); his brother-in-law Pete Rieveley; and his in-laws, Lorraine, Rick Bourdeau and Chiara Pagura. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
If so desired, donations may be made in Mike's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to The Kidney Foundation of Canada. In a final act of generosity, Mike gave the gift of life through organ donation.
