She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert Weerts; her children, Madeline (Nathan), Derek and Thomas; her parents, Margaret Bourque and Camile Bourque; and her siblings, Rachel Daher (Anwar) and Craig Bourque (Kim). She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
