He was predeceased by : his siblings, Anka, Milica, Braco, Ivica and Stjepan.

He is survived by : his wife Frieda; his children, Anne-Marie Marincic (Tom), Elfie Wolfe (Roy) and Monika Banovic (Josip); his great grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Emily, Thomas, Charlotte, Rowan, Eleanor, Luka and Alen; his siblings, Seka, Barica of Zagreb and Croatia; and his nieces and nephews, S. A. and Croatia.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in honour of Mike may be made to the Alzheimer Society Windsor-Essex County or St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
