The family announces the passing of Nella Spada (Windsor, Ontario) on October 21, 2026. Nella, born on June 2, 1945, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pietro; her parents, Rosina Pizzo and Alessandro Pizzo; and her in-laws, Carmine and Antonietta Spada.
She is survived by: her children, Max (Dilene), Marisa Pescara (Carlo) and Roberto (Lisa); her grandchildren, Alessia (Bradley), Natasha (Jeffrey), Selina, Luca, Sophia and Matteo; her siblings, Frank Pizzo (Elvie), Flora Spada (late Santino), Tony Pizzo (Nancy) and Anna Pedri (Paolo); and her siblings-in-law, Mario Spada and Franca Spada (Ottavio). She is also survived by her many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S4). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Angela Merici Parish (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
