Nelson Edward Uten Obituary

We announce the death of Nelson Edward Uten (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Nelson will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Uten and Rose Uten of Windsor; his sisters, Sharron Zamczyk (Norman) of Michigan and Darlene Zimmerman (Jeremy) of Connecticut; and his niece Dina Lindquist (Erik).

He is survived by: his niece Kathy Zamczyk; his nephews, Kent and Tad Zimmerman; his family, Larry and Dana Horwitz (family: Gary Klein); Erik Lindquist.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery (2650 Pillette Rd, Windsor, ON N8T1R1).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Age Care Royal Oak Kingsville where he lived the past few years would be appreciated, as well as any Jewish organization would be appropriate as well.
