He was predeceased by: his siblings, Suhail, Jameelah and Suhaila. He is survived by: his spouse Rima; his children, Zahia, Badi, Natalie (Jeff) and George (Danielle); his grandchildren, Michael, Owen, Olivia, Ayla, Sophie and Anthony; his sister Marie Zawany (late Gubrael); his niece Angelique; and his nephews, George (Karen) and Alexander (Andrea).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church (1808 Labelle St, Windsor, ON N9E1B4). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at the Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N8W1Z6).
