He was predeceased by: his son Tony; his parents, Antonio Gerardi and Giuseppa Gerardi; his siblings, Pina and Laureato; his parents-in-law, Nicolo and Nunzia Maltese; and his siblings-in-law, Antonio, Giacomo Bonafede, Filippo Maltese and Simone Maltese.

He is survived by: his wife Giuseppina; his children, Josie (Jeff), Nancy (Frank), Nick (Trisha) and Annalisa; his grandchildren, Tanya, Christine, Samantha, Sarah, Michael, Nicholas, Austin, Daniel and Sabrina; his siblings, Giovanna Gerardi (late Filippo), Antonio Gerardi, Anna Giacalone, Giordimaia, Antonia Milanis (late Thomas), Armando, Antonia Gerardi, Gaspare, Rosa Gerardi and Pia Catalano (late Onofrio); and his siblings-in-law, Antonia Maltese, Giovanna and Alberto Maltese. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
