He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Polistena and Marianna Polistena; his siblings, Giovanna Polistena, Federico Polistena (Domenica), Rocco Polistena and Agata Brovelli (Giovanni); and his brothers-in-law, Francesco Polistena and Albino Masaro.
He is survived by: his wife Lucia; his children, Marianne Polistena, Sina Longo (Mario), Angela Nouvion (Mark), Francesco Polistena (Kay), John Polistena (Shelley) and Fred Polistena (Sandra); his grandchildren, Josie (George), Lucia (Damian), Vince, Alaina (Andrew), Matthew, Patrick (Blythe), Olivia, Erica and Mikayla; his sister Angela Polistena; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Polistena, Carmela Mirasola (Calogero), Lina Masaro, Gianna Favrin (Orfeo) and Mary Amato (Agostino). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Blood Services Windsor would be greatly appreciated.
