He was predeceased by: his wife Johanna; and his siblings, Wilhem Wester, Agie De Boer, Annie De Moele, Cornelius Wester, Margaret Bakker, Trien Jaspers, Jan Wester, Niek Wester, Marie Overbeek, Afra Korver and Ton Wester.
He is survived by: his children, Petra Dykeman (Les) of Ilderton, Willy Ann Kennes (David) of Ailsa Craig and Robert Wester (Melanie) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas, Ryan (Laura), Jennifer (AJ), Matthew (Jocelyn), Sarah (Stephen), Alex, Taylor, Hailey, Lyla, Lincoln, Alana, Riley, Evelyn and Hayden; his sibling-in-law Lou Verberne; and his in-laws, Hendrika Bastiaansen, Hein Verberne, Sien Mikkers, Toon Verberne, Fien Sonnemans and Jan Verberne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews Family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Denning's of Strathroy (32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G 1M6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Church (124 Front St E, Strathroy, ON N7G1Y9). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the All Saints Roman Catholic Church (124 Front St E, Strathroy, ON N7G1Y9).
Memorial donations may be made to Strathmere Lodge (Recreational Department) or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
