She was predeceased by: her husband Cuong Nguyen; her parents, Dan Vu and Pho Pham; her sibling Quy Vu; and also Lap Vu.

She is survived by: her children, James Nguyen (Chan) and Chris Nguyen (Seva); her grandchildren, Vienna and Victoria Nguyen; her siblings, Vinh Vu (Ngoc), Hien Vu (Oanh), Bao Vu (Binh), Phi Vu (Steve) and Khoi Vu; and her nieces and nephews, Hanh Vu, Yen Vu, Thanh Vu, Toan Vu, Huy Vu, Thao Vu, Hung Vu, John Vu and Leanne Young.
