He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Saif Hakeem (Chelsea Reddekop) and Layth Hakeem (Marwah Al Samawi); his grandchildren, Hussein and Lillian Hakeem; and his sibling Birnadet Hakeem.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Chaldean Church (686 Marentette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1Z4). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Heavenly Rest Family of Catholic Cemeteries (5005 Howard Ave., LaSalle, ON N9H1Z5).
