He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Sean (Sarah) and Bryan (Carla); his stepchild Heather Doucette (Wayne); his grandchildren, Chloe, Liam, Carter, Zander (Zirwes) and Dalia; his siblings, Bart (Liz Carreira) and Charlene (George Turnbull); his siblings-in-law, Judy Wegner (Ted) and Bruce Schnindell (Janet); his parents, William Atkins and Leona Atkins (Burke); his wife Nancy; and his pet Rocky. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Knights of Columbus.
