He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur and Delia (Simard); his wife Pauline (Trepanier); his children, Bonnie Cullen (Bill), Gary Belanger (Margaret Ann) and Tim Belanger (Sue); his grandchildren, Jodi (Darren), Cori (Rodney), Casey (Dana), Wesley (Maggie), Jenny, Nicholas (Laura), Kenille and Cru (Lex); and his girlfriend Louella Lessard.
