He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Stainton and Etta Stainton; and his brother George Stainton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stainton; and his daughter Janet Stainton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1805 ON-3, Oldcastle, ON N0R1L0).
