She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Simon "Sam" Bekic; her children, Denise (Rick Elsby) and Michael Bekic (Cathy); her grandchildren, Caitlyn (Matthew), Jennalyn (Bradley), Michael (Julia) and Ryan; her siblings, Hectorine Ouellette (Clarence) and Judy White (Thomas); and her friends, Mary Jane and Chantelle Bowyer. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the T2B Palliative Care Hotel Dieu Grace.
