Richard James Brookes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, at the age of 76, Richard James Brookes (Windsor, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brookes (Lucy Burlak) and Norman Brookes. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his brother Danny Brookes; and his friend Gerald Booth (Sue).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W1C7). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
