He is survived by: his son Louis; his siblings, Madeleine Gray (Gerry), Nelson Papineau (Verone), Jock Papineau (Simone), Dominic Papineau (Betty), Ben Papineau (Jeanne), Jean Papineau and Louis Papineau (Tina); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Langis (Beth), Pat Siefker (Wayne), Francine Hillman (Les), Louis Langis (Sue), Juliette Roehler and Joan St Pierre (Ed).

In memory of Richard, donations to the Hospice of Windsor or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
