She was predeceased by: her husband James; and her son Kenny. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Mentley (Ed), Jim Smith (Carmen), Gary Smith (Cathy), Shirley Antonel (Al) and Sandy Dennison (Pete); her grandchildren, Troy (Liz), Ross (Andreana), Katrina (Gian), Cody (Kelsey), Dante (Kim), Nicole, Amanda (Nick), Ryan, Stuart, Justin (Stephanie) and Quentin; and her brother Albert Lariviere. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
