Rita Di (Lia) Salvo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Di (Lia) Salvo (Windsor, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Di (Lia) Salvo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nicola Di Salvo; her child Loredana Di Salvo (Steve); her parents, Domenico Lia and Santa Francesca Lia; her siblings, Vincenzo, Raffaele, Angelina, Pasquale, Francesco, Antonio, Gina, Mario and Arturo; her nephew Cesare (Sherry); and her friends, Franco and Elsa Coletti.
She is survived by: her children, Alberto, Lorenzo (Phebe) and Sabrina Porporino (Roberto); her grandchildren, Alessia (Kevin), James, Nikki (Nate), Rita, Lorenzo, Matteo, Gianluca, Francesco, Alessio, Cristiano and Giuliana; her sister-in-law Anna Lia; her nephews, Giorgio (Carrie) and Stefano (Mariaangela); and her niece France.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Parish (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9).
