We are sad to announce that, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 77, Robert Burns McGhie (Windsor, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Amy; his son Jeff McGhie (Nicole); his parents, Donald and Bernice; and his sister Barbara Brooker.

He is survived by: his children, Brittany McGhie (Rob), Donald McGhie (Jessie) and Russell McGhie (Mary); and his grandchildren, Emily, Cabella, Caleb Van Watteghem, Willow Bobiwash, Evanna, Lina Willson, Ezra Dykens, Russell, James and Ronan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

In memory of Burns, donations may be made to Windsor Cancer Center Foundation.
