He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Geraldine; his siblings, Benjamin, Bill, Tom, Harry, Stan, Raymond, Walter, Kenneth, Dorothy, Clarabelle, Helen and Evalene; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Palmer, John Robert Palmer and Charles Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Finley; his children, Mary Ellen Finley, Shelley Ann Lovell-Rees (Terry), Tracy Lyn Finley and Robert Owen Finley (Valerie); his sisters-in-law, Pearl Palmer and Margie Finley; and his grandsons, Nathaniel Lovell (Delilah) and Ethan Lovell (Blake). He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, friends.
