He was predeceased by : his parents, George Sladic and Anka Sladic. He is survived by : his children, Jessica and James Sladic; the parent of his children Allison Sladic; his sister MaryAnn Sladic; his girlfriend Jennifer Tessier; and his nephews, Zachary and Jacob Kane.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W1C7). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Robert's children, Jessica and James Sladic.
