It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Monforton (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Monforton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nelson, Leo, Fr Marc, Orval, Lloyd, James and Leona; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Grady, Paul Langlois, Raymond Meloche, Estelle, Mignonne, Doris and Lucille.
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Anita Bertelle (Kirk) and Marcel Monforton (Christie); his great grandchildren, Brextyn, Wrenley, Henri and Lachance; his sisters, Mary Jane Grady of Kennebunk Maine, Margaret Reeb of Sarnia and Cecelia Monforton of River Canard; his siblings-in-law, Carmel, Alvin Meloche (Mabel), Louis Meloche and Rosemary Jones; and his cousins, Phil, Josette and Linda.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (9399 N Townline Rd, Amherstburg, ON N9J2W6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
