With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Markovic Kuhlmann (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Markovic and Martha Markovic; and her siblings, Julius Martin, Sylvia Martin and Eva Markovic.

She is survived by : her husband Peter Kuhlmann. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8).

In honour of Ruth, memorial donations would be greatly appreciated to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County (https://www.thehospice.ca).

Although I haven't seen her for more than 34 years since I moved to Vermont, she was still the best family MD I ever experienced in Canada or the US and one of the kindest. I am truly sorry for your loss Dr. Kuhlmann and that of your loved ones. Dr, Markovic will be sadly missed by all who knew her.”
