With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Clifford Thorne (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Dana; his siblings, Nancy, Florence, Donald, Gerald, Leo and Anna; and his parents, Frederick Thorne and Florence Thorne.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Cheryl (John Beaugrand), Bill (Joanne), Dan, Karen (Gary Swiston) and Brian Pluimers (Dana); his grandchildren, Kyle, Danielle, Trevor, Samantha, Amy, Eric, Zachariah, Karissa, Logan, Brianne and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Sofie, Katelyn, Lily, Emylie, Maeve, Wesley, Jasper, Eleanor, Hannah, Penny and Michael; and his siblings, Fran, Sandra, Frank, Fay and Joy.

Sadly due to Covid – 19, he wasn't able to get back to Casino Windsor for one last crack at the slot machines.

In kindness donations may be made in memory of Stan to The Alzheimer's Society.
