He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adelina Popescu and Paul Popescu; his former wife Doina; his son Catalin Gabriel; his sister Lidia; his grandparents, Zina, Spiridon, Fica, Iancu and Herman Victorov; his wife Carmen Popescu; his son Gabriel Popescu (Meghan); his stepdaughter Andreea Dancu (Razvan); his sister-in-law Rodica Olariu (Ioan); and his niece Irina Rizea (Marius). He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
