He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Taylor and Sadie Taylor; and his siblings, Helen Harten, William, Edward and Donald Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his son Andrew (Nancy); his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Patrick; and his brothers, Allan, Norman and Lorne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
