He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jim Sarakinis and George Sarakinis; his sibling-in-law Vasil Branov; his parents, Pantelis Sarakinis and Ioanna Sarakinis; and his in-laws, Spiro and Elena Branov.
He is survived by: his wife Phany; his children, Joanne Seeger (Michael) and Sam Sarakinis (Diana); his grandchildren, Peter Panzica, Elena Panzica and Owen Seeger; his brother Tony Sarakinis (Dolé); and his brother-in-law John Branov (Susan). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church (5225 Howard Ave, LaSalle, ON N9H0J2). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
