He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Desjardins and Patricia Desjardins; his siblings, Pam, Yvonne and John; and his father-in-law Gabriel Masse.

He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his siblings, Joanne (Rob Leroux) and Terry (Cynthia); and his mother-in-law Annette. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society or The Canadian Cancer Society.
