He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Bertelle and Marlene Bertelle of LaSalle; and his brothers, Roy and Kirk (Anita). He is survived by: his son Nicholas Broderick; his sibling's children, Brenna Lachance (James), Ashley Horn (Ryan) and Brandon Bertelle; and his aunts and uncles, Gary Shaw (Jennifer), Donna McDearmid (Clark), Allan Shaw (Cindy), Claudia Hunt (Larry) and Richard Bertelle (Stephanie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Church (5885 Malden Rd, Windsor, ON N9H1S5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (5885 Malden Rd, Windsor, ON N9H1S5).
