It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Victoria (Ah) Zalev (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Zalev; her parents, John Horvath and Theresa Horvath; her siblings, Ivan (Theresa), William Horvath (Betty), Veronika Horvath and Mary Ann Brahm; her niece Frances Horvath; and her nephew Mark Horvath.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew and Joshua Zalev; her grandchildren, Rachel Zalev, Noah Zalev (Michelle) and Joseph Zalev (Paige); her great grandchildren, Ezra, Marnie, Lilah and Reuven Zalev; and her nieces and nephews, Kathy Borrelli (Paul), Carole Loiselle (late Kevin), Robert Horvath (Kim), William Jr. Horvath (Mairi), Veronika Brahm and Kurt Brahm.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery (2650 Pillette Rd, Windsor, ON N8T1R1). A prayer was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 7:30 AM, on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at 8:30 AM, on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 7:15 AM, on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 7:30 AM and on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 7:30 AM at the Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue (115 Giles Blvd E, Windsor, ON N9A4C1).
