He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Friedl and Elizabeth Friedl; and his siblings, Max Friedl (Ruth) and Elizabeth Anderson (Roger). He is survived by: his children, Linda McCallum (David), Dr. Walter (Brenda), Michael (Jennifer), Mary Dowell (Doug) and Paul (Bin); his grandchildren, Chris McCallum (Jodie), Mary McNeill (Brad), Dr. Warren (Megan) and Dr. Zachary Friedl; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Emily McCallum, Camille, Conrad Friedl, Desmond McNeill, Liam, Owen Thibert and Ryan Friedl; Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
