Walter Yaworsky M.D.C.M Obituary

The memory of Walter Yaworsky M. D. C. M in Windsor, Ontario, who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Yaworsky and Julia Yaworsky (Martyniuk); and his brothers-in-law, Paul Guy of Tacoma, WA and Weldon Minchew of Scottsdale, AZ.. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his sons, Dr. Paul Yaworsky of Boston, MA and Andrew Yaworsky [Nancy McGuire] of Livonia; his siblings, Dr. Raymond Yaworsky [Maxcyne] of Ogden, UT, Uliana of Mississauga, Olly Doran [Brian] of Toronto and Christine McNeill [Dennis]; and his sister-in-law Carol Minchew of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance may be made to the Building Fund of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, 601 Lake Trail Drive, Windsor, ON N9G 2M3.
