He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Jean Whitfield (VanRooyen); his children, Susan (Matthew Simpson), Steven (Natasha (Mullen)) and David (Stephanie (Szymkiewicz)); his grandchildren, Chloe, Evan Simpson, Katia, Zara, Petra, Ivy, Molly and Max Whitfield; his in-laws, June James, Janet, Richard Bradley, Wendy Neff and Cliff Velzy; his adoptive sons, Maher and Ayman Daoud; Rawan and Joud.
