Wigand Kruger Obituary
We bid farewell to Wigand Kruger (Windsor, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 1, 2025 at the age of 95. Wigand touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Erwin; his parents, Gustav Kruger and Pauline Kruger; his siblings, Erich (Ella), Gustav (Ella), Helene (Sigmund) and Wanda; and his brothers-in-law, Heinz (Gretel) and Gustav (Anne).
He is survived by: his wife Edith; his daughters, Karin, Ingrid (William Taylor) and Rita (Shawn Kerwin); his grandchildren, Karl, Michelle (Michael), Mitchell, Scott, Gabriele (Gregory), Krystal (Jacob) and Brennan; and his sisters, Else (Herbert) and Olga (Werner). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1971 Rossini Blvd, Windsor, ON N8W4P6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Diabetes Canada in Bill's memory.
