William John Dewar Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2020, at the age of 96, William John Dewar (Windsor, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dewar and Margaret Dewar; his aunt Jenny; his uncle Harry Pearson; his sisters, Georgina (Bill Nickell) and Jean (Len Russell); his cousin Jim Pearson (Dorothy); his siblings-in-law, Lily Moore (Bud), Laura Chappell (Gord) and Jim Cornett (Hettie); and his friends, Bill and Marg Waldron.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel (Cornett); his children, Brian Dewar (Kathie) and Diana Dewar (Les Fincham); his grandchildren, Sarah Dewar (Mark Dutka), Lauren Dewar, Krystina Fincham, Sandra Fincham (Kyle Thomson), Luke, Hunter, Edwyn Pinnau, Avery, Maevis and Paige Thomson; and his brother-in-law Sam Cornett (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
