It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernie Lane of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Isobel (Ash); his daughter Allison Rebecca Murphy (Lucas); his brother Barry Edward (Joan); and his parents, Florence and Ernest.
He is survived by: his children, Eric, Andrea and Elizabeth; his stepson Mark Hillock; his sister Barbara Lavergne (Ronald); his former wife Edith Werhof; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Werhof (Sandra) and Kathy Raine (Ash).
