Harold Johnston Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Johnston of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Johnston and Ella Johnston (Barnard); his brothers, Bob Johnston and Jim (Sue Johnston); his parents-in-law, Burns and Ethel Moffatt; his sister-in-law Norma (Glenn Golley); and his nephew Rick Johnston.

He is survived by: his spouse Etoile Johnston (Moffatt); his children, Arlene, Mark Borho of Formosa, Stephen and Didi Johnston of Lakeshore; his grandchildren, Taylor, Adam Johns of West Bloomfield, MI, Sarah Borho of Formosa and Dylan Malcolmson of Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Zoey; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd, Janet Moffatt of Ayr, Keith, Marg Moffatt of Bluevale, Brian and Linda Moffatt of Goderich.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McBurney Funeral Home (35 Patrick St W, Wingham, ON N0G2W0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel (35 Patrick St W, Wingham, ON N0G2W0).
