He is survived by: his spouse Merle (Fitch); his children, Doug, Sheila Cousins of Guelph, Ken "Fred", Gwen and Todd Poyntz of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany Cousins, Jordyn Cousins, Mitchell Despinic, Pam, Jeff Hinz, Michelle, Tyler Gloor, Rachel, Cullen Hackett, Adam Cousins, Jordan Lenz, Katelyn, Jordan Thiessen, Hillary Poyntz and Tyler Thiessen; his great grandchildren, Reid Cousins, Nixon, Darcy Hinz, Kaden, Kayley, Nolan Gloor, Mason, Gavin Hackett and Bensen Thiessen; and his siblings, Lawrie Cousins and Betty Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brussels Legion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
