It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Hoy of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on February 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lynn Hoy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilfred Hoy and Jessie Hoy (Brown); his brother Bill Hoy (Roberta); and his parents-in-law, Alex and Grace Ewart.
He is survived by : his wife Annabelle Hoy (Ewart) of Wingham; his children, Brian, Victoria Hoy of Wingham, Terry Hoy, Jacky Murray of Wingham, Deb and Pat Murray of Lucknow; his grandchildren, Sarah, Josh Hoy, Emma, Katie and Craig Murray; his brother Harold Hoy of Owen Sound; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Bryce-Hoy of Kitchener, Don, Bernice Ewart of Owen Sound, Doug and Gladys Ewart of Hanover. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or OneCare would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
