He was predeceased by: his wife Matilda (Hutchison); his son Arnold Dawson (Connie Dawson); his parents, Philip Dawson and Jennie Dawson (Anderson); his siblings, Lois Dawson, Jean Nethery (Alex), Mae Ritchie (Mervin) and Harold Dawson; his great grandchild Nathan Scott; and his brother-in-law Doug Machan.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna (Allan Snowden); his grandchildren, Melissa Scott, Jodi, Dan Cline, Paul, Corrie Dawson, Shauna Dawson and Wade Benoit; his great grandchildren, Alena, Nolan Scott, Adelyn, Dylan, Colin Cline, Zachary, Laura, Ryan and Logan Dawson; and his siblings, Florence Machan, Murray and Sonja Dawson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huronlea Resident's Council or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
